How “Glowstick Balloons” Went Viral…

I am fascinated by how certain items go viral – while others languish in obscurity.

I am equally fascinated by infographics that rock.

Combine the two and you get this interesting post by Melissa Megginson who is a Marketing Manager at PinLeague. She traced the roots of the “Glowstick Balloons” pin on Pinterest. Some interesting things she discovered:

1) Viral takes time.

2) Beautiful photos matter.

3) Broken links = Lame.

What do you think? Had you already seen “Glowstick Balloons?” How viral is this?
